About Me

I am a graphic design student at South Hills School of Business and Technology who writes fantasy novels on the side. I decided to go into the graphic design field because I am passionate about design and art. I wanted to be good at and enjoy the field, so I went to South Hills as a graphic design student. My books are another reason I want to be a graphic designer, I want to make the book covers and series logo myself. I want to make the covers myself because I know what I want for the covers and what will work based on the story of each book, and it will get me more things to put it my portfolio. I am most skilled at designing printed work, but I am still good at other types. I know you don’t want your design to mislead your audience and I know both the client and the audience needs to like the design. I hope to have a successful career as a graphic designer and writer. I am still learning and have room for improvement, but I am doing my best. South Hills has taught me a lot about graphic design. It has taught me how to use the Adobe Creative Cloud, not to put a stroke around body text, to always start with sketches, and more.
